it's so frigidly cold here (47 degrees farenheit. laugh all you want, non-orange-county-goers; to us it's fucking cold). it's raining so hard that i cannot even visit chief. :(
luckily, i have spore, of montreal, and these delicious peppermint sticks to keep me busy.

anyway! last night i watched elf with amanda, alex, davis and erin. finally!! i've been waiting to see that movie for so long. i am never fully in the christmas spirit until that movie has been watched. amanda was baffled at the fact that i knew every word to "pennies from heaven" harhardsjfosdjfo.

so right now, alex is at the purcells', my parents are gone getting christmas gifts, and i'm sitting here listening to Of Montreal at a ridiculously loud volume, all clad and ready for when my mom can take me to go ride chief. at least i dont have to go to church anymore. :)

i'm pretty excited about my friends' christmas gifts. i hope they enjoy them. i'm excited to make cookies with my BIFFLS!@!@#!@#!@# tomorrow, and then making gingerbread houses and going to the bay club to watch the boat parade next weekend.
mmm! christmas spirit is afoot! i hope everybody else is feelin it. :)

Flowers seem extra beautiful today. especially strange, color-altered ones in photographs. why do real life colors need to be so boring?!



Today was a relatively good day; it had all the potential to be incredibly bland but ended up not being very bland at all. It was extremely windy, though, so today gets a C-. It would have been a solid B if wind did not suck so many balls.

Also! Gossip girl was absolutely freaking heartbreaking. If you don't watch this show, watch it. If you mock this show and think it's terrible, watch it anyway. motha eff, it's so addicting, and makes monday not my least favorite day of the week. But yesterday is was so heart wrenching; i don't think i've ever pathetically cried so much at the tv for one hour.

Christmas Preparations / Dec 08

I associate Christmas with lots of things.
Traditional Christmas music, green and red, hot chocolate, gifts, cheer, and the chocolate dipped peppermint sticks from Trader Joe's. It's all anticipated.
So I went to Trader Joe's today.
No chocolate dipped peppermint sticks.
If you know what I'm talking about, I'm sure it's devastating for you, too. Christmas has gotten like 7 percent suckier.
