Both of these holidays were moved over pagan holidays, and they both are about Jesus. Christmas being his birthday, Easter being when he arose from the dead. If this Jesus was alive, December 25th wasn't his birthday, and I doubt someone who's wrists and ankles had been pierced all the way through and bled out would come alive however many days later. But that's all up to faith.
I took Catholicism classes from 1st grade to last year, space cowboy, I know what's up. :) i'm referring to the commercial overtaking of the holiday, not the idea and reasoning of the holiday in itself.
